I live in a town with quite a reputation. Unfortunately, not of the positive type. But I really love it – I never thought I’d say that but quite honestly this is my home and I’m happy here. It upsets me when people say negative comments about it. Today I have a story for these people:
I was walking home from town earlier today in the pouring rain. From a distance I could see: several teenage boys in hoodies; holding their phones out; and something on the floor. As I approached, I saw on the floor was an old gentleman – his face was covered in blood. The teenagers had seen him slip and fall in the rain – hitting his face on the floor. They stayed with him, called an ambulance, and made sure he was going to be looked after. No matter what the appearance of someone is, I love how inside every human there is the urge to help others.
On another note I have decided that the English are like daises. When it’s sunny they spread their petals and take it all in. When it’s a miserable day like today, they close their petals up and sulk. Because of this I want an outfit like this:
But I can only find it for a baby which is very disappointing. If anyone could find me an adult version of this, that would be exceptional. This is how I want to be for the rest of my life. A comfy daisy.
Over&out.
