Hello there, you absolutely beautiful beings!
Isn’t it nice to know that wherever you are, and whatever mood you’re in that:
People have created hilarious meme’s.
You can draw a face on your finger and put it in all sorts of cheeky poses.
There are always going to be over-sized items to wear/rock.
Blue Reef Aquarium in Portsmouth’s walk-through tunnel was not working – so they took out all the sea-life; drew some fish on paper; and stuck them to the glass.
There will always be that one person doing it wrong – in this case, it was me.
It is definitely superb that there are such wonderful little things in life. I’m pretty sure that anyone can be cheered up with: a chicken korma, caffeine, Outnumbered, flowers, a picture of Ryan Gosling, a Snapchat of your friend doing an ugly face, and a donkey ride. Whether or not these are all accessible depends on your proximity to the internet/Blackpool beach/a meadow/a leprechaun.
This year I have learnt the importance of enjoying the little things. I think I’ve finally learnt it because recently even the tiniest of things is making me cackle! Poor surrounding people. I have become sickeningly optimistic in the past few weeks. Last month I was walking along in the pouring rain thinking – oh well, at least it’s not snowing. Who does that?! Who is that happy when they’re soaked through to their knickers?! And now I’m getting annoyed at how happy I am. I conclude that I must be ridiculous. Apologies.
I hope you are all enjoying your summer – despite the unpredictability of the weather. Now, put on this tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8a4iiOnzsc; grab some Pimms; put on a lei; and enjoy yourself! If you need a good book, I’ve just finished ‘Starter for Ten’ by David Nicholls which I definitely recommend.
